AT-1 Gunma Jihan Road Service offers mobile tire chain installation services in the areas around Karuizawa, Kusatsu Onsen, local hot springs, and ski resorts within Gunma Prefecture.

Our shop specializes in rescue operations in snowy mountainous areas, so please contact us anytime you're in trouble, and we will do our best to assist you, regardless of the time or location!

We provide rescue services for those who have come to snowy roads with regular tires and are unable to leave the parking lot or have slipped and become immobile on the road.

If you find yourself stranded at a mountainous hotel or inn due to snowfall and are unable to move your car with regular tires, or if you get stuck while traveling through mountainous areas, please feel free to call us.

Our service area covers Gunma Prefecture and Karuizawa Town in Nagano Prefecture. We are unable to assist in other areas.

Chain Installation on Snowy Roads

As of January 2024, we have a sufficient stock of various sizes of tire chains. However, please be aware that our inventory can run out quickly during heavy snowfall due to a surge in requests. If you need tire chains, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible.

During snowy conditions, we receive numerous requests from the areas around Karuizawa and Kusatsu Onsen.

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's not uncommon for it to take several hours from the time of your request to our arrival.

If you think you might be in trouble, please contact us immediately.

At our shop, the total bill for assistance includes a basic rescue fee that varies by region, plus the cost of the tire chains and the installation fee.

The details of the fees are outlined below. For on-site chain installation for compact to standard-sized cars during regular business hours, the approximate costs are as follows.

• Around Karuizawa Town: approximately 33,000 yen
• Near North Karuizawa: approximately 33,000 yen
• Around Kusatsu Onsen: approximately 35,000 yen
• Near Shima Onsen: approximately 37,000 yen

Upon arrival at the site, if the snow has melted and chain installation is not required, we will still charge a basic rescue fee for each region and a cancellation fee of 2,200 yen.

Even if our store is near your location during heavy snow, we are unable to offer discounts on our basic rescue service fee.
